Environmental Programs Division
The Environmental Programs Division is primarily responsible for stormwater management through the development, implementation, and enforcement of Staunton's Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Program. Staunton is required to have this program to ensure regulatory compliance with the mandates set forth by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
