All programs at the Staunton Public Library, whether sponsored by the Library or by community groups, are open to all and offered at no charge. The Library welcomes people of all abilities. Please alert us at least 5 days in advance if there is a need for accommodation.

Food may be served during some library programs; contact us if you have questions or concerns.

Library events may be photographed and recorded for promotional materials for the City of Staunton and City-approved third parties.

Afternoon Classics Book Club

2nd & 4th Wednesdays 1:30 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Meeting Room

Afternoon Classics reads fiction and non-fiction from classical Greek drama to Lincoln’s speeches, Neruda’s poems, and Catch-22. Lively discussion. Join us the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Meeting Room. Special meetings in November 11/15 and 11/29, no meeting 12/27.
