All programs at the Staunton Public Library, whether sponsored by the Library or by community groups, are open to all and offered at no charge. The Library welcomes people of all abilities. Please alert us at least 5 days in advance if there is a need for accommodation.

Food may be served during some library programs; contact us if you have questions or concerns.

Library events may be photographed and recorded for promotional materials for the City of Staunton and City-approved third parties.

Book Sale: Friends of the Library Members Only Sale

Before opening to the public, a special Members-Only Preview will be held on Sunday, Oct. 11 from 3 - 6 p.m. This preview is open only to current paid members of the Friends of the Staunton Library. Join online at https://www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=AL99WLCB2K27W or at the door the day of the preview sale. Membership levels start at $10/year.
 
What treasures will you find this year? Shop thousands of used books, movies and more at this annual fundraiser for the Friends of the Staunton Library. Most items are priced at $1 or less. Cash, check and PayPal accepted. All proceeds support library events, services, and improvements. Please bring your own bags or boxes for your purchases. 

The Friends of the Staunton Library Book Sale will be held Monday, Oct. 12 – Friday, Oct. 16 at their new location within Christ Lutheran Church at 2807 N. Augusta Street. Pull into the back parking lot and enter off of the Coalter Street side.
Open to the Public:
• Monday, October 12 – Thursday, October 15, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.:
• Friday, October 16, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
