All programs at the Staunton Public Library, whether sponsored by the Library or by community groups, are open to all and offered at no charge. The Library welcomes people of all abilities. Please alert us at least 5 days in advance if there is a need for accommodation.

Food may be served during some library programs; contact us if you have questions or concerns.

Library events may be photographed and recorded for promotional materials for the City of Staunton and City-approved third parties.

Teen Book Club: YA Shakespeare Retellings

Star-crossed love, power, revenge, madness, and more - aye, we'll be discussing it all at our spring book club featuring YA retellings of Shakespeare plays. Choose from a variety of fiction and graphic novels at our first meeting and discuss your reading at our second and third meetings. Cohosted by the American Shakespeare Center. On April 8, 15, & 22 from 4-5 p.m. in the YA Area. Ages 13-18.
